Insomnia
We went to bed at the normal time (11:30 p. m.) and I was so tired, but because of the good weather and because the sometimes the world hates you, some stupid people decided to stand before the house and talk and play music and so on. And because it is hot I could not close the window.
So I did not fall to sleep and just before I did the little one woke up and cried really hard (1:30 a. m.). Fortunately my boyfriend came to bed right this moment and put the little one to sleep again. But of course the stupid people were not gone and then I was wide awake.
Youtube and Bloglovin entertained me for the last two hours and I am not sure when I want to go to bed again, because I hate to lie there and not sleep. So maybe I simply wait for the little one to wake up and be hungry (normally between 5 and 6 a. m.) and hopefully sleep then a bit.
A not so nice end to a very nice day. And I had so high hopes!

Baby Haul
I only wanted to buy nursing pads and what did I got? Pacifiers, socks, muslin blankets and not only one but two packages of nursing pads. I simply can't resist all the cute stuff. And did you notice that baby stuff is everywhere and everything is just too adorable?

Hello again
We are back at home again and it seems that the worst is over. Monday we were at the hospital again for a final test and the results were fine. The little one is now much lighter and can enjoy breast milk again. Fortunately we were at the hospital only for two days. Otherwise I would have gone crazy.
Now I only hope the little one will have let me some time to update the blog more often. He is two months old already. The time really runs. Hope you have a nice day!

In the hospital ... again
I am sorry for the lack of posts, but the last weeks were a bit exhausting, especially for my nerves. The little one still has neonatal jaundice (Neugeborenengelbsucht). The doctor sent us to the hospital two weeks ago, but they sent us away, because it could come from my breast milk. Last week our midwife suggested to pause breast feeding and afterwards the little one looked really better. But of course the doctor wants to know exactly so she sent us to hospital again.
I am all for searching for a cause of the jaundice, but why do We have to stay in hospital? I could give him the bottle at home. I hope after these days it is finally settled and we can have some calm weeks. Right now I am really pissed off by doctors and hospitals, especially because nobody tells you anything. I had to ask how long we make a breast feeding pause and all the other details. And I hate it that my little one is not with me, but on the other end of the ward.
Wish me luck that this will be all over soon!

Lifesaver
Sometimes it's the little things that count. Like this pacifier which the little one finally liked after refusing all others. It saved me some nerves the last days when he was in a bad mood.
