Souvenir Scarves

A while ago I discovered vintage souvenir scarves and I think this is such a great idea. You can get a lot of them online, mostly for the United States, but also for other countries. Here is a small selection from etsy:

And of course I had to get some for myself. Because I have not been to America and there were none for Russia I decided for Berlin, Munich and London. I love them all. Each one has great details, like the bears on the Berlin one and the flag motiv for Munich.

Vintage Find: Cold Duck

When I sought for a nice glas carafe at ebay to put my water into I stumbled over these special ones. They are called "Kalte Ente" (cold duck), presumably because of the shape. I was lucky abd got one for a good price. It only has to get cleaned.

For daily use I got another carafe which is not so fancy but also nice. I like both pieces and am happy to add a bit more style to my homeware.

The Balm Schwing Eyeliner

I am really clumsy when it comes to Eyeliner. With all I had so far I could not draw a nice line for my life. I almost gave up, when I heard so much good about the Eyeliner from the Balm. And what can I say? For the first time in my life I mastered a decent cat eye line. It was not perfect, but with a bit of practice I think this could work.

The Eyeliner is with 15 EUR not the cheapest but it's worth the money.

Surprise Package

My Mom told me she would send me my ticket for the Book Fair next week, but instead of a normal envelope I received a package with not only the ticket but my Minnie Mouse and sweets. What a great surprise! Mom is the best!
